Organization & Team Overview

Comcast Cable's Legal department serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner across the business, supporting innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory integrity. The team provides legal counsel on a wide range of matters-from product development and network operations to customer experience and enterprise systems-ensuring that Comcast's broadband, wireless, video, and voice services are delivered responsibly to over 57 million customers across the U.S. and Europe.

At the heart of its mission, the Legal department leads the company's efforts in privacy, compliance, and AI governance, helping shape and evolve policies and programs that protect customer data, uphold ethical standards, and guide the responsible use of emerging technologies.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related fields. You'll work on real-world Analytics and AI applications, contribute to research and development, and help build scalable tools that support our mission to innovate through intelligent systems.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conduct quality assessments of data sets as well as issue spotting and trend outlier analysis.

• Analyze and clearly communicate data. Create front-end data visualizations that succinctly tell a story based on your data analysis. Present data informed conclusions to customers seeking answers.

• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to design, train, and evaluate machine learning models for classification, prediction, and optimization tasks.

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL for ingesting, cleaning, and transforming large datasets.

• Develop and deploy web-based dashboards and tools using React, Flask, Tableau, PowerBI and PostgreSQL to visualize model outputs and support decision-making.

• Assist in the development of deep learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow for tasks such as image recognition, natural language processing, or game-state evaluation.

• Participate in weekly research meetings, code reviews, and technical design sessions.

• Document findings, write clean and maintainable code, and present results to cross-functional teams.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills

• SQL Proficiency with experience writing queries one or more of the following: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL

• Linux/Unix Scripting experience

• Experience with statistical software (R, Python) a plus.

• Front end User Interface development skills, such as Java Script, Pearl, HTML, ASP

• ETL and Data cleaning.

• Preferred Majors: Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university

• Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)

• Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)

• Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026

• Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

• Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation
Base Pay: $32.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
