TEKsystems is seeking a motivated Network Operations Technician to support our Anchorage-based client. This is a remote-first opportunity, but candidates must reside in Alaska and be available to work on-site in Anchorage during the first 3 months of training.
This role is ideal for entry to mid-level professionals looking to grow their careers in network operations within a supportive and technically dynamic environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage network systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across Access and Core Transport Networks.
- Respond to outages and coordinate with technical teams to restore service.
- Execute disaster recovery protocols when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve issues.
- Document network activity and submit timely reports and notifications.
- Follow established protocols and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring:
- Basic understanding of telecommunications and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Cisco devices and Windows OS.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and self-initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNA certification (highly preferred but not required).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco device configuration.
