Sr. Financial Analyst - Treasury

Our client is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst – Treasury!  This is a well-established energy company with a strong presence in the Rockies and Permian regions, offering stability and growth opportunities. Location: Downtown Denver (Hybrid – onsite 1x/month; 1 day/week during training)
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + strong bonus options

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking operations.
• Partner with banking institutions to maintain strong relationships and ensure optimal financial positioning.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning processes.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with accounting teams on journal entries and reconciliations as needed.
• Assist with the implementation of treasury-related policies, procedures, and tools.
• Prepare and present reports for senior leadership, highlighting trends and recommendations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or treasury.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external banking partners.
• Demonstrated adaptability, self-motivation, and a growth mindset.

• Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, and/or professional certification (CFA, CPA, CTA).
• Background in finance/treasury strongly preferred; accounting experience will be considered if combined with the right personality fit.
• Experience with multiple financial tools and systems, and willingness to adapt to new technology.
• Exposure to SAP and other ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with accounting/journal entries and reconciliations.
