Role: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Erie, PA (Onsite)
What You Will Do
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring software quality and compliance in safety-critical systems. You will be responsible for developing automated test solutions, executing test plans, and validating compliance with industry safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans for embedded systems.
- Automate regression and interface testing across multiple platforms.
- Ensure software meets compliance standards such as MISRA and ISO 26262.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in testing practices and tools.
Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, PyTest, or similar).
- Experience with embedded systems testing in automotive or safety-critical domains.
- Knowledge of MISRA coding standards and ISO 26262 functional safety compliance.
- Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
