Description

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri, 63141-6727, United States. This role involves writing code, creating detailed design documents, and delivering high-quality applications in the telecom industry. The Sr. Software Engineer will also work with embedded hardware and have a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals such as algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.

Responsibilities:
Write efficient and maintainable code in languages such as C, C++, C#, and Java
Design and document software components in detail
Solve complex problems and analyze algorithms
Develop high-quality applications in the telecom industry
Work with embedded hardware and ensure its smooth interfacing with software components
Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
Liaise with Product Managers to understand end-user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features
Test, debug, and build code that works across multiple browsers and digital platforms
Understand and adapt to the evolving needs of the telecom industry
Stay updated on new technologies and software development practices

Requirements

Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of software engineering.
Proficient in C++, C Sharp Programming (C#), and Java.
Demonstrable experience in algorithm development.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and techniques.
Ability to design, develop, and implement complex software systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Strong communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred.
Experience in leading teams and projects is a plus.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and principles is beneficial.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
Up-to-date knowledge of technological trends and developments in the field of software engineering.
