Job Description

ECS is seeking a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant to wor k remotely .

We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant that will lead, coordinate, communicate, integrate, and be accountable for consulting with customers and developing process solutions that support the needs of their business and for facilitating successful project outcomes. This individual will also assist the Business Process Consultants have diverse responsibilities focused on business process analysis, consulting customers on industry best practices, facilitating technology requirements gathering and documentation, and ensuring that ECS-defined processes and solutions are optimized for our client's long-term success. Our process consultants serve in multiple roles and capacities within our typical ServiceNow implementation engagement, including, but not limited to, process consultant, engagement manager, business analyst, testing and/or training coordinator, and organizational change management facilitator. A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Advise the Client on best practices and available tools to manage business processes and other strategic initiatives.
  • Define processes, governance, tools, education, metrics, and reports that support the execution of all business programs.
  • Manage risk of requirements on the business organization and across multiple platform applications.
  • Create models to determine the problem/opportunity to be addressed.
  • Develop work streams/projects with multiple flows throughout the System Development Life Cycle.
  • Prepare and maintain process diagrams and posters using Visio and other available toolsets.
  • Prepare for and facilitate requirements gathering sessions in conjunction with the solution architect.
  • Utilize internal draft stories or obtain ServiceNow provided starter stories.
  • Translate initial requirements into draft user stories to be fully vetted and approved with clients.
  • Brief and facilitate the project meetings, schedule meetings, write up of action items and meeting notes.
  • Knowledge Management: Facilitate information and document sharing on SharePoint and ECS's internal ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop training materials, instructional aids, and deliver training in support of project efforts to facilitate customer adoption.
  • Create, execute, and maintain communication plans and organizational change management materials.
  • Facilitate product backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily SCRUM, sprint review, and sprint retrospective sessions.
  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change; plan and schedule project timelines and deliverables.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $185,000

  • Must have an active DOD Secret clearance (Fully Adjudicated - NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • Minimum of 3+ years demonstrated success as a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant
  • B.A. in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
  • Advanced software skills including SharePoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat X, Navvia
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • ITIL v3 Certification desired
  • Knowledge of multiple frameworks including Cobit, ISO 20000, ISO 27000, CMMI, FITARA, HiTrust, FISMA/RedRamp
  • Be performance driven with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Leading and facilitating meetings
  • Running workshops and giving presentations
  • Verbal and written communication skills

  • Work independently and drive projects
  • Experience working with the Agile framework a plus
  • Skilled in the management of knowledge and information sharing

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • This is primarily a sedentary position.
  • Driving or airline travel to client and company sites is required on a limited basis.
  • Frequent talking and hearingisrequired to express and exchange ideas and convey detailed and important ideas to coworkers and client.
  • Close visual acuity is required to perform viewing a computer terminal for 8 or more hours a day.
All candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must have an Public Trust clearance or higher, preferred Secret
  • Must be able to work across multiple programs across the Federal and DOD space

Desired Skills

  • Multiple ServiceNow Certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist and other appropriate credentials.
