Job Details
Job Title: Power BI Developer (SQL Server + Healthcare Domain)
Location: Frisco TX/REMOTE
Required Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
- Strong SQL Server skills, including T-SQL, performance tuning, query optimization, stored procedures, and indexes.
- Understanding of healthcare data structures, such as:
- Claims data (CMS, payer, eligibility, HEDIS, risk adjustment)
- Clinical data (EHR/EMR, lab results, encounters)
- HL7/FHIR standards
- Quality metrics (HEDIS, NCQA, CMS quality measures)
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
- Ability to translate healthcare reporting needs into clean, well-designed dashboards and KPIs.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical healthcare stakeholders.
- Experience working with PHI and understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements.
