Job Summary

The Enterprise Regional Solutions Director is a technical pre-sales manager who is customer- and partner- facing . Th is role support s a team of engineers whose focus is on bringing the right technical solutions to meet customer needs. The RSD will coach, train , and be involved in customer meetings to move the process forward and actively close deals with the team.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:
  • Engag ing with multiple layers of contacts within a client's organization, including but not limited to CIO, CTO, IT Directors, and Application Managers, to sell, build relationships , and u ncover opportunities .
  • Collaborat ing with sales team s to help close deal s by speaking to the technical side of recommended solutions .
  • Develop ing the region/territory based on strategic account planning through collaborat ion with sales leadership and extended ASG team .
  • Engaging the Local Technology Community ( MFGs and SI Partners) and the appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility .
  • Strategically train ing sales team s on the positioning of company solution practices , ensuring that they understand customers' ongoing enterprise needs .
  • Monitor ing employee performance and attendance records, act ing on performance issues in a fair and consistent manner , provid ing actionable feedback, and driving employee recognition .
  • Executing SHI Sales Methodology and strategy with direct reports, sales counterparts, partners , and customers with Regional Sales Teams .


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role
  • Minimum 5 years working in complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security , and Network sales opportunities .
  • Experience working with enterprise technology organizations (Dell/EMC, HPE, Cisco, VMWare, AWS, Microsoft, Palo Alto, Customers, etc.) and knowledge of the competitive IT landscape .
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience

Unique Requirements

  • The position requires up to 35 % travel to meet business needs


Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $180,000 - $275,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
