Technical Lead - Microservices

HYBRID - HOUSTON, TX

We are seeking a Technical Lead with expertise in microservices and mathematical and statistical models. This role focuses on leading the transformation of refactoring mathematical/statistical modules into optimized, scalable, reusable microservices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the transformation and refactoring of modules into scalable, efficient microservices using Databricks.


• Adapt microservices architecture to support the deployment and optimization of complex mathematical and statistical models.


• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.


• Facilitate stakeholder communication and ensure alignment with project goals.


• Transfer essential domain knowledge to the project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.


• Demonstrated leadership in data engineering, with a focus on microservices architecture and mathematical and statistical models.


• Expertise in using Databricks for designing and managing scalable microservices.


• Proficient in API management, especially in environments utilizing complex computations.


• Strong skills in Python, Java, or Scala, and in mathematical and statistical libraries.


• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization and orchestration technologies.


• Experience with Databricks, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
