Position: SAS Viya Analytics/Architect

Location: EST and CST

Duration: Contract

Note: Weekly 5 days office is must

We are looking for a SAS Server Side Architect, who will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and re-factoring (addressing technical debt) SAS Viya and SAS Analytics server application on AWS EC2 instances.

The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of our data analytics infrastructure.

Below is the job description:

Overall Experience	1a	Minimum 5 years of experience in setting up and managing SAS Viya and SAS Analytics ETL solutions on AWS EC2 instances
1b	Proven track record of independently implementing and optimizing SAS solutions in a cloud environment.
SAS Server Expertise	2a	Expertise in SAS Viya architecture, including installation, configuration, and management.
2b	Experience in handling software upgrades, including planning, execution, and post-upgrade validation.
2c	Strong understanding of SAS Analytics ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques.
2d	In-depth knowledge of SAS CAS (Cloud Analytic Services) and its application in large-scale data processing and analytics.
Security	3a	Proficiency in authentication and authorization protocols, with experience integrating SAS solutions with Active Directory (AD) groups.
3b	Expertise in designing and managing row-level security to ensure data access compliance and protection.
3c	Familiarity with network security, encryption, and data protection best practices.
Others	4a	Advanced skills in AWS services, particularly EC2, Load Balancer, and related technologies.
4b	Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
4c	Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAS applications.
4d	AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification is a plus
4e	SAS certifications related to Viya and Analytics are a plus.
Soft Skills	5a	Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
5b	Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
5c	Proven Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead technical discussions.
