Job Description:

Onsite Requirements:



  • At least 4 years of employed work experience conducting penetration test beyond vulnerability

  • Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Ruby, Java, or BASH,

  • Experience with standard web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP,


Required Experience / Skills:



  • At least 4 years of employed work experience conducting penetration test beyond vulnerability scanning.

  • Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Ruby, Java, or BASH.

  • Experience with standard web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), VPN, SSH, and RDP.


Soft Skills:



  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Desire to solve problems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Testing Specific:



  • Kali Linux Distro and associated tools (Metasploit, Wireshark, Nmap, OWASP ZAP, John the Ripper, Aircracking, etc.)

  • Burp Suite

  • Vulnerability scanning


Common Off-The-Shelf Nice to Have:



  • Docker

  • VMWare

  • Excel

  • SharePoint


Knowledge of the PEN Testing Standards / Frameworks / Methodologies is a plus:



  • OWASP

  • MITRE ATT&CK

  • CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System)

  • CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures)

  • NIST SP 800-115 (not required, but a plus)
