The Mission Solutions Business Area at Leidos is seeking a CADD/BIM Specialist in Reston, Virginia. The primary focus of the group is reverse engineering Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) related facilities and facility infrastructure. Candidate must bring a creative, yet sound, approach to identifying and solving challenges with these interrelated systems in a customer setting and have exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness. The successful candidate will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team of government and contractor personnel. Work will be performed in a fast-paced, high-energy environment within a government facility.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00

Role and Responsibility:
- Develop various engineering and technical data into models using Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Utilize CADD/BIM systems including AutoCAD, and specifically Revit 3D modeling, and other software tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint to provide material for analysis
- Ensures use of CADD and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) is consistent with sound engineering principles and practices
- Consult with project leaders to ensure detailing of data is compatible with the conditions being written and to furnish information required to meet the specifications.
- Confer with assignment originators as necessary to obtain additional or clarifying information, or to offer suggested revisions.
Required Qualifications:
- MUST POSSESS an active TS//SCI clearance and willing to undergo a CI polygraph. This requires ship.
- We are seeking several skilled CADD/BIM experts to join the team and we will have flexibility to accommodate different levels of skills/education. At a minimum, besides the clearance, these positions require experience using Autodesk Revit Software! This could be a combination of a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years experience using Autodesk Revit Software OR High School Diploma and 5+ years experience using Autodesk Revit Software or a mix in between with an associates degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with creating BIM Revit models and integrating architectural, structural, HVAC, power, communications, and plumbing systems.
- Using Revit to develop in-house construction documents.
- Understanding how survey and engineering data and drawings are developed and their application and are related to construction; making modification to features for various Civil works and military projects
