We are currently seeking a Senior IT Specialist to support our Northeast EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) team, which manages 8,000+ interfaces across a rapidly growing market. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates located near Raritan, NJ who can attend occasional onsite team meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data reports and system outputs to identify performance trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors to resolve interface and workflow challenges.
- Maintain and enhance existing EDI client configurations as needed.
- Provide quality assurance for internal and external reporting outputs.
- Manage the commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
- Support the development of new reports and data analyses.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Monitor updates to source data systems and assess their impact on existing workflows and reports.
- Deliver training to end users on new reports and data processes.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues, working closely with departmental leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field, or 5+ years equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDI or project management, within a healthcare environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven project management, organizational, and customer service abilities.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate complex data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, VBA, SQL, DAX, and Power Query is preferred.
