Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in expanding and enhancing our predictive analytics platform. This position offers the chance to work with mission-critical data pipelines and cloud infrastructure that directly influence our clients’ operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Job: Senior Data Engineer w/Experience in Python Data Libraries

  • Location: Juno Beach, FL (Onsite)
  • Duration/Term: Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Source Integration: Research and evaluate new data sources, gaining a deep understanding of their interfaces and APIs for seamless ingestion.
  • ETL Development: Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a centralized data repository.
  • API Development: Enhance and extend existing API infrastructure by adding CRUD endpoints to support new data types and features.
  • DevOps & Infrastructure: Maintain and improve DevOps processes, including containerization and deployment of ECS Tasks, AWS Step Functions, and associated data pipelines within AWS cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 2 years of software engineering or data engineering experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Python programming.
  • Strong experience with Python Data Libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Polars.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Proven experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and related services.
  • Proficiency with Git version control workflows and collaborative development best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of REST API design principles and implementation.
