Job Description:

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams in the Healthcare and Life Sciences (HLS) diagnostics domain. The role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, documenting workflows, and supporting the development of diagnostic platforms and LIS integrations. The ideal candidate will have deep domain knowledge in clinical diagnostics, laboratory workflows, and regulatory compliance.

Must Have Skills:

- Strong domain knowledge in Healthcare and Life Sciences diagnostics

- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), HL7, and diagnostic workflows

- Proficiency in requirements gathering, user stories, and process modeling

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to have skills:

- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP, HIPAA)

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

- Understanding of interoperability standards (FHIR, IHE)

- Knowledge of diagnostic instruments and middleware platforms

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements

- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories

- Support product development teams with domain insights and workflow validation

- Facilitate UAT and ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements

- Create process flows, wireframes, and documentation to support solution design

- Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure traceability and quality

- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
