Objectives of this Role:
- Strengthen proactive safety measures by identifying potential hazards.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of facilities.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Perform Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA).
- Collaborate with project managers on design reviews to ensure safety considerations are incorporated.
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct compliance audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field.
- 2-7 years: Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
- 1-7 years: Familiarity with industry-standard safety protocols and regulations.
- 1-7 years: In-depth knowledge of Safety and Health regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
