About the Role


We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Engineering to lead, inspire, and scale our engineering team. In this role, you'll drive technical excellence, execution, and innovation across our product lines. You'll partner closely with cross-functional leaders to define our technology vision and bring world-class solutions to market.



What You'll Do




  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers and managers across multiple disciplines.




  • Define and execute engineering strategy in alignment with product and business goals.




  • Foster a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.




  • Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software delivery with a focus on velocity and sustainability.




  • Drive hiring, mentorship, and career development for your team.




  • Partner with product, design, and other stakeholders to align priorities and deliver value.




  • Own operational excellence: system performance, reliability, and incident response.




  • Set and manage budgets, forecasts, and team capacity planning.





What You'll Bring




  • 10+ years of engineering experience, with 3-5+ years in leadership roles.




  • Proven success in leading engineering teams through growth, scaling, and change.




  • Strong technical background-able to earn trust and challenge ideas with depth.




  • Track record of delivering high-quality, customer-facing products at scale.




  • Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and people leadership skills.




  • Experience with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.




  • Ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on problem-solving.
