Job Details

Our client, an innovative neurotechnology company based in Massachusetts, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Engineer for a contracting role with strong potential to convert to a full-time position. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge neurotech products that push the boundaries of data transmission and wearable systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize embedded software/firmware for STM32 microcontrollers.
  • Implement and refine Bluetooth/BLE communication protocols, with a focus on transmitting large volumes of data reliably and efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and neuroscience experts.
  • Debug, test, and validate embedded systems in real-world scenarios.
  • Contribute to the architecture and scalability of future embedded platforms.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
  • Proven experience with Bluetooth/BLE, specifically handling high-throughput data transmission.
  • Deep expertise with STM32 microcontrollers and associated toolchains.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills.
  • Experience with embedded RTOS environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, R&D-focused environment.
