Our client, an innovative neurotechnology company based in Massachusetts, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Engineer for a contracting role with strong potential to convert to a full-time position. - Design, develop, and optimize embedded software/firmware for STM32 microcontrollers.
- Implement and refine Bluetooth/BLE communication protocols, with a focus on transmitting large volumes of data reliably and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and neuroscience experts.
- Debug, test, and validate embedded systems in real-world scenarios.
- Contribute to the architecture and scalability of future embedded platforms.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
- Proven experience with Bluetooth/BLE, specifically handling high-throughput data transmission.
- Deep expertise with STM32 microcontrollers and associated toolchains.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Experience with embedded RTOS environments is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, R&D-focused environment.
