Description
We are looking for an experienced EDI/API Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in resolving data discrepancies, improving processes, and providing exceptional service to clients. This is a remote position based on Pacific Standard Time, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while supporting operations in San Francisco, California.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve discrepancies reported by clients and insurance carriers, ensuring data accuracy.
Analyze the root causes of issues and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with teams to automate workflows and enhance integration processes.
Deliver high-quality support to clients by addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Work with EDI transactions, APIs, and related technologies to manage data exchanges effectively.
Utilize tools such as ANSI X12, DB2 Database, and File Gateway for efficient data management.
Configure and optimize systems to meet business requirements and improve performance.
Document business processes and requirements to facilitate seamless communication with stakeholders.
Conduct testing, including A/B testing, to ensure the reliability of system updates and integrations.
Participate in additional projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or a related role within benefits administration.
Proficiency in working with systems such as OneKonnect, Noyo, Ideon, or other similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of EDI transactions, ANSI X12 standards, and API integrations.
Hands-on experience with tools like DB2 Database, File Gateway, and Gentran.
Familiarity with configuration management and the ability to document business requirements.
Understanding of Applicability Statement 2 (AS2) protocols and business process functions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
