AI Developer - Backend Focus

Position Overview:
Backend-focused AI developer responsible for implementing and maintaining enterprise AI solutions, emphasizing LLM integration, RAG pipelines, and cloud-based AI applications supporting executive initiatives and client education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Solution Development

• Build and maintain backend systems for LLM-powered applications using Python and cloud-native architectures
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for knowledge management and document intelligence systems
• Develop agentic workflows and intelligent automation solutions for executive decision support
• Create chatbot backends with natural language processing capabilities and context management

LLM Integration & API Development

• Integrate multiple LLM APIs (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic) into scalable backend services
• Design and implement prompt engineering frameworks for consistent AI responses
• Build model switching capabilities and performance optimization layers
• Develop feedback collection systems and model evaluation pipelines

Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment

• Deploy and manage AI applications on AWS using EC2, Bedrock, and Systems Manager
• Implement load balancing strategies for high-availability AI services
• Develop CI/CD pipelines integrated with GitHub and AWS Systems Manager
• Build containerized applications using Docker for consistent deployment environments

Client Support & Education

• Support Executive Orders implementation through AI-powered solutions and analysis tools
• Develop educational AI demonstrations and proof-of-concepts for client training (100+ identified topics)
• Create backend APIs for Streamlit-based educational interfaces and interactive demos
• Provide technical support for front office AI initiatives and stakeholder presentations

System Integration & Maintenance

• Integrate AI capabilities with existing enterprise systems and databases
• Monitor system performance, implement logging, and maintain application health
• Develop automated testing frameworks for AI model accuracy and system reliability
• Create documentation and technical guides for AI system maintenance

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of IT experience.

Technical Experience (Minimum 2 Years)

• AWS Services: EC2, Bedrock, Systems Manager, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB)
• Version Control: GitHub with Systems Manager integration
• Programming: Advanced Python development with a focus on AI/ML applications
• Frontend Frameworks: Streamlit for rapid AI application prototyping
• Development Environment: Cloud-native development and deployment practices

AI/ML Expertise (Minimum 2 Years)

• LLM Integration: Proven experience using APIs for large language model integration
• Prompt Engineering: Advanced techniques for optimizing AI responses and behavior
• Agentic Workflows: Building autonomous AI agents and decision-making systems
• RAG Implementation: Hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation architectures
• Chatbot Development: End-to-end chatbot implementation, including context management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Frontend Development: React or other modern web frameworks for full-stack capabilities
• Containerization: Docker for application packaging and deployment
• DevOps: CI/CD pipeline development and automation tools
• Additional AWS Services: Lambda, S3, OpenSearch, API Gateway experience

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Equivalent professional experience with demonstrable AI/ML project portfolio
