About the Role

We are urgently seeking a Java Project Lead with strong hands-on development and leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java/J2EE, REST API development, AWS, and microservices, along with proven success in leading teams and delivering scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers.
• Drive architecture, design patterns, and best engineering practices (SOLID, OOP).
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and ensure production-grade code delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile (SCRUM) environment.

Mandatory Skills

• Core: Java, J2EE, REST APIs, HTML, CSS
• Tools: IntelliJ IDEA, Git
• Experience: 5+ years in Java/J2EE platform
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• CI/CD expertise (Jenkins or similar)
• AWS (hands-on experience required)
• Spring Boot (nice to have)
• Experience with REST and SOAP services
• Strong understanding of web security principles and HTTP/S architecture
• Agile/SCRUM environment experience

Additional Experience

• 6+ years in system architecture and design for large-scale distributed systems
• 5+ years in DevOps and AWS (Code Commit, Jenkins, Code Pipeline, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
• Experience with Amazon connectors (preferred)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
