Akkodis is seeking a Software Verification Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Saint Paul, MN. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software testing, test design, and defect resolution, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Rate Range: $32/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Verification Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing test cases according to practices and regulatory standards.
- Developing new test suites for new features and functionality.
- Conducting dry runs and formal verification activities.
- Setting up and configuring test equipment.
- Recording and closing defects found during verification activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1-2 years of medical device or relevant experience preferred.
- Experience with manual testing and test equipment configuration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
