Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Playwright to lead a critical UI automation migration project billing portals. This role is hybrid-onsite from day one and requires a hands-on leader who can mentor others and drive technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of UI automation from Cypress to Playwright, including integration of Playwright's AI agent.
• Oversee the transition of test environments from local machines to the cloud.
• Collaborate with senior testers to define migration strategy and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and training to both onshore and offshore QA team members.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and containerized test execution.
• Support automated API and performance testing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of industry experience in test automation.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright in a professional setting.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with Cypress and transitioning frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience in mentoring and guiding QA teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-native testing environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated API testing and performance testing.
• CI/CD pipeline integration and containerization for test automation.
• Exposure to Playwright's AI capabilities.
