Position: Lead Consultant Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Montreal, QC
Overview:
We are seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Developer with strong experience in building scalable applications. The role involves end-to-end development, code reviews, and collaboration with QA to deliver high-quality solutions. Prior exposure to capital markets or investment banking is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based full stack applications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with QA and business teams to deliver efficient solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- Strong expertise in Java, Advanced Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Frontend experience with Angular or React, JavaScript, HTML.
- Experience with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with QA processes, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of investment banking, derivatives, or capital market products.
- Proactive approach with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
