Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Cloud Developer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Java/Spring, and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building scalable, resilient cloud applications using Google Cloud Platform services, along with hands-on experience in developing microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform using services such as Dataflow (Apache Beam), Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and Cloud Scheduler.
Build and maintain scalable microservices using Java/Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST, OkHttp, RestTemplate).
Implement CI/CD pipelines with tools like Cloud Build and Jenkins.
Monitor cloud services using Cloud Monitoring and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
Write complex DB queries and work with relational and cloud-based data sources.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, testers, and product owners in Agile environments.
Ensure high standards of software quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best DevOps practices.
Lead and mentor team members in development, architecture, and design.
Required Skills & Experience:
Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform):
3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Spanner, Functions, Pub/Sub, Monitoring, Logging).
Experience using Google Cloud Platform Console and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Solid background in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture (serverless, microservices, containers).
Java / Spring:
Strong Java backend development with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST/SOAP services.
Experience integrating Kafka Producers/Consumers.
Skilled in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Version control and automation using Git and Jenkins.
General & Soft Skills:
Strong understanding of scalable and secure integration design patterns.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and triage complex production issues.
Self-driven with leadership capabilities and team orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with open-source tools such as Apache Tomcat, Artifactory.
Experience working in distributed teams and Agile environments.
Prior experience in project management and/or client-facing roles.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps culture.
Proven ability to foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
