Job Details

We have an exciting contract opening for an Electrical Test Technician with one of our top clients in Andover, MA. In this role, you will perform electrical and functional testing of wires, electronic instruments, and circuit boards to ensure quality and compliance with product specifications. You'll work on complex instrumentation, configuring assemblies, executing final acceptance testing, and supporting engineering teams to maintain the highest standards of product performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, calibrate, and perform final tests on instruments and systems to ensure compliance with model specifications.
  • Perform in-process and final testing of electronic assemblies, wiring, and components.
  • Use sophisticated programs and diagnostic tools to collect and evaluate operational data and perform on-line adjustments.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair non-conforming units using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and other test equipment.
  • Work closely with engineering to identify, analyze, and resolve technical and quality issues.
  • Assist in developing and refining test and manufacturing methods or procedures.
  • Perform electromechanical assembly of systems in a manufacturing cell as needed.
  • Meet daily production and testing targets while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean, contaminant-free environment while handling sensitive instruments.

  • Report quality issues promptly to management to ensure corrective action and prevent recurrence.
  • Support other assignments as needed to meet business requirements.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in instrument configuration, electrical testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure, calibrate, test, and repair complex electronic or scientific instruments.
  • Proficient in using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and related diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, specifications, and diagnostic data.
  • Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing production and testing assignments.
  • Must be able to work in a cleanroom or contaminant-free environment, using gloves and following standard procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software tools.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
