We are seeking a highly motivated IT Field Service Specialist to support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure across diverse locations. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of IT services including server, network, and security systems, as well as low-voltage cabling. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, working closely with internal teams and external partners to meet project goals.

***This position requires extensive travel-approximately 60% to 75%-across the United States. Candidates must be comfortable working in remote and challenging environments and be available for after-hours, weekend, and on-call support as needed.***

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems including servers, network equipment, security devices, and structured cabling.
  • Support LAN/WAN infrastructure setup and maintenance.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for assigned field projects, coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with a focus on timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, inventory, and service records.
  • Participate in network monitoring and escalation rotations.
  • Travel to various sites to perform IT-related maintenance and installations.


Requirements

  • 2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network security.
  • Familiarity with technical tools such as cable and fiber testers.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel long distances by car and air.
