URGENT REQ:
NOC Network Operation Center and Firewall VPN Specialist
Santa Barbara, CA

seeking an exceptional talent for network operation specialist Lead role who can lead/mentor 24x7 NOC support team for North America Retail Customer.
What You'll Do
Be a customer point of contact, driving customer discussions, sync with onsite teams, vendors,
Lead , mentor 24 x7 NOC and firewall team.
8 to 10 years of experience in end-to-end NOC and firewall administration Operations.
Create and update ServiceNow tickets and related tasks.
Participating in on call rotation
Scripting Good to have Python/Ansible or other scripting tools PowerShell helpful.
Build dashboards, health checks, manage tools integration, adopt best practices , automation.
Monitoring of network and firewall infrastructure, including links and connectivity health
Enable Network related metrics in monitoring tools.
Detection, triage, and resolution of network-related alerts
Escalation and coordination with customers' internal teams and third-party partners during major incidents.
Drive P1 and Severity calls till closure of RCA.
Drive Change Management Process.
Handle large volume of tickets, coordinate internally to closure.
Documentation and SOP development to fill current knowledge gaps.
Proposing and implementing automation improvements for alerting and response
Maintaining incident tracking, resolution, and reporting via ITSM tools
Configuration, monitoring, and policy management for Palo Alto firewalls and Zscaler VPNs
Incident response and resolution for access, connectivity, and policy-related issues
Ongoing firewall rule management, access control reviews, and configuration changes
Coordination with regional teams to ensure language and time zone alignment during business hours.
Participation in internal and external compliance activities, including documentation and policy maintenance
Support for ongoing infrastructure initiatives including upgrades, segmentation, and policy consolidation

Firewalls: Palo Alto 420, 1400, 3200 series (in HA) 16 firewalls deployed globally
