Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday Procurement Specialist to support our Finance ERP Transformation initiative, migrating procurement operations from legacy systems (PeopleSoft Procurement and SAP Ariba) to Workday. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Workday Procurement experience, strong understanding of procurement processes, and prior involvement in system migration projects.



Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Procurement (Supplier Accounts, Sourcing, Purchasing, Contracts, Supplier Portal, Spend Analytics).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze procurement processes and translate requirements into effective Workday solutions.
Partner with integration teams to ensure smooth data migration of suppliers, catalogs, purchase orders, contracts, and historical data from PeopleSoft and/or SAP Ariba to Workday.
Conduct fit-gap analysis between legacy procurement systems and Workday capabilities.
Drive system testing activities (unit testing, UAT, regression) and resolve procurement-related defects.
Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to procurement teams on new Workday processes and workflows.
Collaborate with Finance, AP, and Supply Chain teams to ensure end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) integration.
Develop training material and support change management during deployment.
Act as functional SME for Workday Procurement, supporting post-go-live optimization and enhancements.



Required Qualifications
5 8 years of experience in Procurement systems with at least 2 3 years of Workday Procurement configuration and implementation.
Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Management, Contracts, Sourcing, and Purchasing workflows.
Hands-on experience in Workday Procurement implementations (full cycle preferred).
Experience with ERP migration projects involving PeopleSoft Procurement and/or SAP Ariba to Workday.
Familiarity with integration touchpoints between Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, and external supplier systems.
Strong skills in requirement gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and business stakeholders.



Nice-to-Have Skills
Workday Certifications in Procurement or Financials.
Experience with Workday Studio / Integration Cloud Platform.
Understanding of global procurement policies and compliance requirements.
Prior involvement in large-scale ERP transformation programs.
