DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote- Upto 20% presence required in Washington DC.
Role Description:
Position Overview
Looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer responsible for building and maintaining development infrastructure with focus on Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure secure, scalable systems while supporting containerized application deployments.
Required Skills
- Kubernetes**: Intermediate knowledge of cluster management, deployments, services, and operators
- RHEL/Linux**: Intermediate system administration skills
- Bash Scripting**: Ability to automate routine tasks
- AWS**: Experience with cloud infrastructure and services
- Ansible**: Configuration management and infrastructure as code
- Minimum Experience**: 1 year with intermediate proficiency in all areas
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters
- Integrate and manage operators and Helm charts for various applications
- Administer RHEL/Linux systems
- Build and modify container images
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab Runners
- Implement security best practices across the infrastructure
- Support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes
