- 5-10+ years of experience really wants to focus on quality and years of experience doesn t always prove that in his book!
- Ability to jump into an ambiguous environment. There are multiple programs/projects they will need to track/create status reports for/put together project planning, so they need to be able to juggle this accordingly. They also may be shuffled over to different work streams, so they need to be OK with this/be able to flow with the organization their day will always be evolving!
- Favorable: Someone who is well rounded and has familiarity with security-related projects, but that doesn t mean that will be their only work stream. They could also be covering infrastructure (F5, UNIX, IAM)/network-related programs, so please focus on candidates that have experience in those realms. The infra piece isn t AS important, however if someone is familiar with Windows Admin, network, or firewall components (not a SME), that would be great!
- Experience working through escalations and being able to identify risk and bring attention to said risk to the right higher-ups/get alignment & know how to collaborate to resolve
- Organizational skills must be strong
- Tools: (jira/rally/clarity/PPM)
- Overall, they will be working on projects surrounding:
- Remediation efforts of vulnerabilities/compliance updates/tracking down/collaboration efforts
- Must be comfortable informing leadership on where items stand/strong communication skills
- Current projects include:
- Zscaler
- Reducing VPN footprint
- Workday implementation
- Agile Methodology experience - all about delivering/taking the right steps
