Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Professional Services QA team. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a strong commitment to quality, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative spirit. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Fiserv s Billpay and Banking products through rigorous testing and quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain deep understanding of Fiserv Billpay and Banking products and their functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global locations (India & USA).
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, use cases, and testing scenarios for new and existing software releases.
  • Analyze business and functional requirements to design and implement automated testing solutions using existing frameworks.
  • Independently manage tasks and deliverables to meet project milestones with minimal supervision.
  • Research and evaluate emerging automation technologies to enhance current frameworks.
  • Identify, report, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Adapt to evolving requirements and frequent changes in a dynamic environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, providing timely solutions.
  • Work closely with Development, QA, and Business Analyst teams to support iterative product releases.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Technical Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in C# .NET and automation frameworks.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Python, VBScript, Ruby, AutoHotKey.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Skype.
  • Experience in the banking domain or with financial products.
  • Command-line proficiency in UNIX and Windows environments.
  • Exposure to Agile testing methodologies.
