Description
We are looking for a skilled part-time Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is an ongoing contract position, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to grow their expertise in IT support within a dynamic environment. The role requires part-time on-site presence and is designed for someone ready to provide reliable Tier 2 IT support while collaborating with our team.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Tier 2 technical support to resolve complex issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
Troubleshoot and manage service desk tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
Administer and maintain Active Directory, including user account changes and permissions.
Provide support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
Utilize PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks to streamline IT processes.
Manage mobile devices and ensure proper configuration through Intune and other Mobile Device Management tools.
Communicate effectively with team members and users, providing clear guidance and thorough support.
Follow established protocols to ensure IT infrastructure reliability and security.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to improve processes and implement solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of all support activities and system changes.
Requirements
Proven experience providing Tier 2 IT support in a focused and organized environment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues across Active Directory and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Knowledge of Mobile Device Management tools, including Intune.
Strong ability to manage and prioritize service desk tickets.
Excellent communication skills and a composed demeanor.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Commitment to reliability and punctuality for on-site work.
