Job Details
A company in the medical research industry, located in Phoenix, is currently looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to add to their growing team. This engineer will help with the design, implementation and maitenance of Linux infrastructure based both on prem and in AWS. They will also help implement further optimization, assist in cloud migrations and help manage compliance initiatives.
This role is hybrid and will require someone to come onsite a few days a week to their Phoenix office.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in a Systems, DevOps or SRE focused position
- 8+ years of experience working with Linux
- 3+ years of experience with AWS
- Proficiency in Bash or Python
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Linux package management, mail server configuration, file sharing protocols, secure communication and system initialization
- Proficiency in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana or DataDog
- Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK or Pulumi)
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise environment (preferably with GitLab)
- Ability to lead POCs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
