Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Analyst to support business and technology initiatives in the healthcare sector. This position is ideal for entry level candidates or early-career professionals eager to develop hands-on experience in healthcare systems, business analysis, and data-driven operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, support system implementations, and contribute to better healthcare delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to healthcare systems and operations.
- Support the design and implementation of systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), patient scheduling, and claims workflows.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and business process models.
- Assist in the creation of reports, dashboards, and performance indicators using Excel or BI tools to support operational decision-making.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and help validate that solutions meet business needs.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and administrative departments, to ensure effective solution delivery.
- Stay informed on healthcare compliance and data privacy regulations, including HIPAA.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 0 2 years of relevant experience (including internships, academic projects, or part-time roles).
- Basic understanding of healthcare operations and terminology, such as claims, EHR systems, and HIPAA compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
