Position: Equipment Engineer III
Location: Bellevue, WA
Onsite Requirement: Hybrid
13 Month Initial Contract, potential to extend up to 30 months
**Position is home based but the worker will need to reside in the Bellevue, WA area. Site visits are required**
Description:
The equipment engineer will be responsible for Engineering cell site equipment for macro cell sites in the Pacific Northwest market.
Specific responsibilities include:
Equipment Procurement & Optimization- Ensure optimum equipment utilization and efficiency. Oversee equipment move between project to expedite installation and acceptance.
Project Management- Design, procure equipment, and manage material requests to various project types. Aid in design, procure equipment.

Description:
The equipment engineer will be responsible for Engineering cell site equipment for macro cell sites in the Pacific Northwest market.

- Review engineering designs to ensure they meet our clients standards,
- Request purchase orders and place equipment orders with various vendors,
- Track and forecast order and delivery dates,
- Track all capital budget needed to complete all equipment orders for each year's plan of record,
- Monitor all equipment expenditures.
Equipment Procurement & Optimization- Ensure optimum equipment utilization and efficiency. Oversee equipment move between project to expedite installation and acceptance.
Project Management- Design, procure equipment, and manage material requests to various project types. Aid in design, procure equipment.
- The candidate must have experience with cellular site designs in Ericsson markets.
- Familiar with RF design of radios and baseband units with various types of antennas.
- Must have experience and proficiency in spreadsheet formulations.
- Must be self-motivated and can complete tasks with little supervision.
- Must have excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members.
- B.S. Degree or previous experience with cell site equipment engineering.
- Experience in reporting, managing budgets, and using financial tools are a plus.
