We are seeking an RPG AS/400 Developer with JDA experience to support and enhance retail applications for our client
The role involves developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting RPG programs on the AS/400 platform integrated with JDA systems.
You will work closely with business and IT teams to deliver enhancements, resolve production issues, and ensure smooth retail operations.
Strong knowledge of JDA modules, AS/400 environment, and retail domain processes is required.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and support skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining RPG programs on the AS/400 (IBM i) platform.
- Participate in bug fixing, code reviews, and system enhancements.
- Learn and apply best practices in RPG, CL, SQL, and DB2 programming.
- Document processes, workflows, and program changes for knowledge sharing.
- Provide production support under supervision (monitoring jobs, troubleshooting issues)
