Overview
The Squires Group is seeking an experienced .Net / Angular Software Developer to support and enhance our clients custom-developed web and client-server applications by building new solutions with .NET MVC/ASP.NET Core and Angular, modernizing legacy systems, containerizing applications with Docker, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with Information Assurance standards, collaborating with enterprise architects, automating manual processes, and managing application ATOs through the RMF process.
Work will be performed REMOTELY in the United States. Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, possessing a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Develop and support the client's custom-built solutions, including creating web applications from scratch using .NET MVC/ASP.NET Core and Angular, modernizing legacy systems, and containerizing applications with Docker.
- Ensure continuity of operations for existing IT systems, including the client's web applications, client-server platforms, and public-facing websites.
- Perform corrective maintenance such as resolving bugs, fixing inaccurate pages/reports, updating flawed business logic, and supporting scheduled software or infrastructure upgrades.
- Maintain, enhance, and upgrade the client's web-based and client-server applications, as well as publicly accessible websites.
- Design and implement secure software solutions that comply with Information Assurance policies, leveraging Web Services, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Federated Identity Management.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure development efforts align with future-state architecture, avoid duplication, and are well-coordinated across the agency.
- Streamline and automate manual processes, including builds, code analysis, unit testing, logging, release management, and test automation for each project.
- Maintain accurate records of each application's Authority to Operate (ATO), and work with Information Assurance to initiate the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) well before ATO expiration.
Qualifications
- Requires 3 years of progressive Software development experience having programming skills in C#, .Net, .Net Core, ASP.Net Core SPA, .Net MVC, and SQL.
- Requires 1 year of experience in development projects using agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum, and familiarity with Azure DevOps Boards or similar work management application for tracking product backlogs and sprints.
- Comprehensive knowledge in Identity and Access Management.
- Experience with distributed version control technologies i.e. Git.
- Requires one (1) of the DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certifications:
- CCNA Security
- CySA+
- GICSP
- GSEC
- Security+ CE
- CND
- SSCP
