Experienced Systems Engineer (Systems Architecture & Def)

Boeing, Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated, talented Experienced Systems, Architecture & Integration Engineers to join our Direct Attack Weapons Systems Engineering team located in Saint Charles, MO . Programs include Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), Ground Launch Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB), Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM), Power JDAM, Massive Ordinance Penetration (MOP), B61, and other derivatives.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is 100% onsite.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Position Responsibilities:
- Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluate customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
- Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
- Perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
- Support, develop, maintain and identify improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
- Resolve cross-functional technical issues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 5 or more years of engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active DoD Security Clearance
- Experience in applying engineering processes and principles
- Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
- Experience with systems development and integration
- Experience modeling or simulating systems
- Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (i.e. Earned value management, DOORs, CAMEO)
- Experience with Model Based Engineering / Model Based Systems Engineering
- Experience in design /electrical / software engineering & analysis
- Experience in Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering
- Experience leading teams, projects or tasks
