This role is 100% on site in Atlanta, GA.
Job Duties:
- Support major upgrades
- Working as a VOIP administrator
- I nstall: routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and other related equipment
- Make sure all networking components meet cybersecurity requirements
- Track and monitor system firewalls
- Working with: DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF
- Partner with the NOC and SOC teams to resolve important projects
- Track and report updates for on-going Networking projects
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Must have a Bachelors and 8 years of experience. May accept an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Must have 2 years of VOIP experience, preferably as a VOIP Admin
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing complex network environments
- Must have at least 7+ years of hands on Network Admin experience or closely related experience
- Must have experience with installing: routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Must have experience working with wireless networking technologies and managing them
- Must have experience working with firewalls and a basic understanding of cybersecurity
- Must have experience with implementing, configuring and managing network security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and virtual private networks
- Ability to monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity
- Must have experience responding to security incidents and taking appropriate action to contain and remediate the issue
- Certification Requirement: Industry standard Network certification such as CCNA, CCNP or similar is highly preferred.
