Job Details

Web logic and websphere product support profiles. NC RALEIGH ON-SITE POSITION.

W2 position

WebSphere and WebLogic admin roles in production support environments:

Installation & Configuration: Set up and maintain application servers (WebSphere or WebLogic), including clustering, SSL, and JVM tuning.

Deployment & Monitoring: Manage deployment of enterprise Java applications and monitor system health, performance, and logs.

Troubleshooting: Resolve issues like memory leaks, thread contention, and connectivity failures across environments.

Security Management: Configure LDAP, user roles, and access controls to ensure secure operations.

Automation & Scripting: Use WLST (WebLogic) or Jython (WebSphere) to automate tasks like server restarts, backups, and patching.

Coordination: Work closely with developers, DBAs, and network teams during releases and incident resolution.

Documentation: Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and incident logs for compliance and audit readiness.

High Availability: Ensure uptime through failover setups, load balancing, and disaster recovery planning.
