Responsibilities as a Senior EPM Techno-Functional Developer
Gather requirements from Finance team and give recommendations on the
multidimensional database
Work on estimating level of effort for building the Oracle EPBCS cube and
prepare a project plan
Analyze, design and implement development strategies and methodologies.
Create the EPBCS cube with the finalized Dimensions & Hierarchies based on
the inputs from the finance team
Create the data flow from source systems and automate the load process,
including but not limited to the data inflow into the EPBCS cube and the outflow
to downstream systems
Create a complex Business rule to automate the Monthly / Quarterly financial
budget allocation process which would immensely help the finance team to
streamline their process
Create Groovy scripts which have Artificial Intelligence capabilities to understand
the user input and run business rules for only those set of data which was
modified, which would give a huge plus in performance of the business rules
Build and manage Metadata and data Integration to other source and destination
applications with the help of Oracle Data Management tool
Work with the business team to create the process flow to streamline their
Budgeting & Forecasting cycles including the Monthly , Quarterly & Yearly
schedules
Design Webforms in EPBCS for users to input KPI & drivers and then calculate
the data in the background based on these drivers.
Design and develop Financial Reports that complies with the U.S. Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP reports)
Identify project risks and reduce delays in implementation as much as possible.
Educate & train the users to use these Forms , scripts & reports to their full
extent
Train the support team to handle the application administration and any future
enhancements.
Support the business during the Go-live , for them to seamlessly adapt to the
new process.
