Job Details
Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Tester with strong knowledge of Sales & Distribution (SD), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Materials Management (MM) processes. The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end business processes within the SAP landscape, ensuring system functionality, data integrity, and compliance with business requirements during SAP implementations, upgrades, and support phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and interpret business process requirements for SAP SD/OTC and MM modules.
- Design and develop comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test data based on functional specifications and business requirements.
- Execute manual and automated testing for SAP processes, including:
- Order-to-Cash (OTC): order creation, delivery, shipping, invoicing, billing, credit management.
- Materials Management (MM): procurement (P2P), inventory management, goods receipt, purchase orders.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to validate functionality and resolve issues.
- Participate in SAP system upgrades, enhancement testing, and data migration validation.
- Create and maintain testing documentation including test plans, traceability matrices, and test summary reports.
- Support go-live readiness and post-production validation activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP testing with a focus on SD/OTC and MM modules.
- Solid understanding of SAP SD and MM end-to-end business processes and integration points.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases in SAP environments (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment is a strong plus.
- Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca) is an advantage.
- SAP certifications in SD or MM modules.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
