Job Details

We are seeking a highly creative and analytical UI/UX Designer to join a dynamic product team supporting enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong UX research skills, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to convert insights into engaging, functional, and elegant design solutions.

Location: Chicago, IL | Peoria, IL | Dallas, TX | Denver, CO | Raleigh/Cary, NC Hybrid (Local candidates only)

This is a hybrid role, and candidates must be local to one of the listed cities and be available to go into the office as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Translate research findings into actionable, prioritized design decisions.Clarify and align user, business, and customer needs into compelling UX/UI concepts.Facilitate and apply research methodologies to inform product design.Create UX deliverables including journey maps, storyboards, user flows, and personas.Define and document UI strategy, design principles, and implementation guidelines.Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to align vision and design direction.Iterate on prototypes based on testing, feedback, and stakeholder input.Maintain a prioritized research backlog aligned with the product roadmap.Contribute to visual design and UI layout with a strong understanding of graphic design theory.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of UX research and design experience in a corporate or B2B setting.Bachelor's degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or related field (or an additional 2 3 years of experience).Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design process and storytelling.Proficient in UI prototyping, layout, and design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).Solid understanding of design systems and accessibility best practices.Experience managing multiple design projects and meeting tight deadlines.Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Project management experience.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Experience synthesizing user feedback and stakeholder input into actionable insights.Strong storytelling ability presenting research and design decisions clearly.

Soft Skills:

Empathy-driven design thinking and active listening.Adaptive mindset and ability to pivot with evolving requirements.Confident decision-making balanced with team collaboration.
