We are seeking a skilled and proactive IAM Engineer to join our security and infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing identity and access solutions across a diverse portfolio of applications and systems. You'll work closely with engineering teams, security stakeholders, and business units to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant access management practices.
This position requires hands-on experience with IAM platforms, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support identity lifecycle, access provisioning, and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions including:
- User provisioning and deprovisioning
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Access reviews and certifications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document access requirements and entitlements.
- Integrate applications with IAM platforms using SCIM, APIs, and other provisioning methods.
- Support and enhance identity workflows and automation using tools like Okta Workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, including escalated support tickets.
- Participate in IAM-related projects, including migrations, audits, and compliance initiatives.
- Maintain and improve IAM policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members as needed.
Tools & Technologies
- IAM Platforms: Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD
- Workflow Tools: Okta Workflows, Windmill, Opal
- Provisioning: SCIM, APIs, CSV-based integrations
- HR Systems: Workday (as a source of truth)
- Scripting: Python, JavaScript, Groovy
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in IAM engineering or administration
- Strong knowledge of Okta (including SAML, SCIM, Org2Org, Workflows)
- Experience with identity lifecycle management and access provisioning
- Familiarity with directory services (e.g., Active Directory)
- Scripting experience for automation and integration tasks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred:
- Experience with IGA tools (e.g., Opal, OIG, Conductor One)
- Understanding of access governance and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with Workday as a master identity source
- Project management experience in IAM-related initiatives
