Role Description
This full-time on-site role involves serving as a Beverage Systems Refrigeration Engineer at BUNN's headquarters in Springfield, IL. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing refrigeration systems for commercial beverage equipment, working closely with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with emphasis in thermodynamics, heat transfer and/or fluid dynamics from ABET accredited program
- 5+ years of experience in refrigeration systems design and development
- Experience in design and development of beverage dispensing equipment is preferred
- Understanding of EPA codes and UL safety and NSF requirements for commercial refrigerated equipment
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g. SolidWorks) and project management tools
