A leading tech organization based in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer for a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is part of a critical initiative to replace outdated Big Data infrastructure with modern, scalable, Java-based system architecture. Candidates will be on-site 5 days/week.
The team is looking for an engineer who can see the big picture, think like architects, and evolve alongside the product as it matures. Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of Java development experience in enterprise environments
Strong experience with the Spring Framework
Proven track record with secure coding and mitigating system vulnerabilities
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted tools to support code generation, refactoring, or system optimization
Proficiency in building REST APIs and cloud-native microservices
Experience with Microsoft Azure (especially containers, AKS, App Services, VMs)
