Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience developing with various data visualization platforms such Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative, interactive, and data-rich dashboards.
Advanced proficiency in various BI tools such as SQL, including writing optimized queries, CTEs, and working with large datasets.
Familiarity with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and data modeling concepts.
Experience working with various cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) is a plus.
Understanding of data governance, security, and user access controls in various data visualization platforms such as Tableau.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills:
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Certification in various data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau Desktop Certified Professional) is highly desirable.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst Lead to join our Data and Integrations team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as SQL and data visualizations platforms such as Tableau and a proven track record of collecting, cleaning, analyzing and building interactive, insightful, and visually compelling dashboards that drive data-informed decision-making. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers to turn complex data into meaningful stories and actionable insights. This position will also be required to perform the functions of a Business Analyst; gathering and analyzing data, identifying business problems, and proposing solutions to improve efficiency and achieve business goals. In this capacity, the position will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop functional specifications, and communicate findings.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage various data visualization platforms to design, develop, and deploy advanced dashboards and visualizations that are both functional and aesthetically engaging.
Collect and translate business requirements into technical specifications and transform data into analytics solutions.
Translate business requirements into data definitions, semantic models, and supporting documentation
Work closely with data engineering teams to design logical data models, dimensions, and hierarchies that align with business terminology.
Define data transformation rules, aggregations, and calculation logic for use in the business layer.
Work with modern AI-powered reporting and analytics platforms to enhance insights delivery (e.g., natural language queries, automated insights, predictive visualizations).
Optimize dashboard performance and usability across various platforms and devices.
Leverage various BI tools to write efficient and complex queries to retrieve, join, and transform data from multiple sources (e.g., data warehouses, cloud platforms, and relational databases).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand key performance indicators (KPIs).
Maintain documentation of data mappings, definitions, KPIs, and relationships for cross-functional understanding and reuse.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and QA processes.
Act as a subject matter expert for various data visualization platforms, mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices in visualization and user experience.
Maintain and support various data visualization platforms such Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud environments as needed.
Continuously improve existing dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
