RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager/Scrum Master in Miramar, FL.
Summary:
The Project Manager/Scrum Master manages a team of business analysts, infrastructure and software engineers constructing and maintaining mission-critical, high-visibility applications and hardware in direct support of the client's business objectives. The ideal candidate for this role has an Application Development background in addition to a deep and modern project management foundation (Waterfall and Agile). The candidate is expected to continually evolve internal development processes/procedures, effectively manage a team of 5-20 software engineers, and deliver projects on time and budget.
Duties:
* Determine the project approach, resource responsibilities, and schedule
* Define team member roles and expectations and ensure timely feedback. Ensure that project resources receive any necessary training and are used effectively
* Review, and be responsible for, the overall development and integration of requirements
* Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, quality, and risks; Make adjustments as necessary
* Define the project iterations strategy; Manage and evaluate iterations
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Plan/JIRA Sprints, including the configuration management, risk management, project measurement, and quality management plans
* Ensure that all requirements, project plans/JIRA Sprints, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members
* Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
* Ensure that the project team follows all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions
* Participate in quality management reviews
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
