Job Description

1. Application Design Components
o Design and develop a responsive point of sale (POS) solution using Oracle APEX
o Develop intuitive user interfaces for checkout workflows, inventory management, and sales reporting
o Implement responsive design principles to ensure the application works on various devices
2. Payment Gateway Integration for Payments
o Integrate Elavon payment gateway solutions to allow online, in-store, and mobile payments Elavon
o Implement secure credit card processing and tokenization
o Configure multi-currency support and payment method options
o Develop and test transaction workflows for authorization, capture, refunds, and void operations
3. Database Development
o Design and implement database structures to support POS operations
o Write re-usable, readable code using SQL and PL/SQL following the most up-to-date industry standards
o Create stored procedures, functions, and packages to implement business logic
o Optimize database performance for transaction-heavy POS operations
4. Security Implementation
o Organize, protect, and maintain the security of the Oracle APEX platform
o Implement PCI DSS compliance requirements for payment processing
o Develop secure authentication and authorization systems
o Create audit trails and monitoring processes for financial transactions
5. Testing and Deployment
o Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
o Design, develop, unit test, and work with testers to ensure application quality
o Create deployment plans and procedures for production environments
o Develop documentation for system operations and user training
6. Integration and API Development
o Develop integration with Elavon
o Create and consume RESTful APIs for external system communication
o Implement batch processing for high-volume transaction processing
o Design failover and recovery procedures for payment processing
7. Reporting and Analytics
o Design customizable reporting options for management needs
8. Support and Maintenance
o Work closely with product owners and business analysts to ensure acceptance criteria are accurately captured
o Provide technical support for the POS system
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues with payment processing and AR integration
o Implement system enhancements and updates as requirements evolve

Diagnose and troubleshoot robotic issues.
